Bella Humaira posted an explanation as to why Islam allows polygyny, but not polyandry.
As a reminder, I support full marriage equality under the law, meaning that any adult, regardless of gender, should be able to marry any consenting adult persons(s), regardless of gender. It is interesting, though, to get different perspectives. Certainly, if everyone is consenting, I have no objection to a man marrying four women and I certainly don't think it should be illegal.
